First Reported by Brian Harrod of Yonkers Newswire, Democrat Stella Schwuchow is rumored to be running for Yonkers City Council in the 6th District. The other Candidates in the race are Republican City Councilman Anthony Merante and Democrat Tim Hodges. Stella's Entry into race could setup a Primary in 6th District on the Democratic Side with Her and Tim Hodges.
It is great to have young people involved and want to run for Public Office, Stella has great knowledge and energy and she is very involved in Yonkers Community and that should be applauded and I feel she would be an asset if Elected to the Yonkers City Council, I will enjoy covering her campaign in this race. I will continue to keep my readers posted on the 6th District Yonkers City Council Race. Stella has been very involved for years with the Movement of London Reyes as well.
