Men’s Basketball Pauses Team Activities.
Riverdale, N.Y. – The Manhattan College men's basketball team has entered a pause for all team activities. This follows a positive COVID-19 test among one of its Tier One personnel consisting of student-athletes, coaches, and support staff. Results were provided during COVID-19 surveillance testing conducted three times a week, as recommended in the NCAA guidelines.
With the paused activities, the Jaspers non-conference competitions will look to be scheduled at a later date, prior to the start of conference play and within the guidelines set forth by the MAAC Council of Presidents and MAAC Council on Athletic Administration.
The basketball program is following all New York State, New York City, CDC, and College regulations to ensure the health and safety of the Manhattan College community and athletic programs.
