Friends, Schools are opening on Monday! The Yonkers Police wants to remind residents to drive carefully and watch out for kids on our streets and sidewalks as we transition back to normal commuting. Please be mindful that due to social distancing efforts, there will be an extra fifty (50) school buses on the road, so make your traffic plans accordingly. Police Officers and Traffic Unit personnel will be assigned to traffic control throughout the City for the morning and evening commutes, and Vehicle and Traffic Laws will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of our school kids and community members.
