Two-term Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino is endorsed for state senate in New York’s 40th District by representatives of the Affiliated Police Associations of Westchester Inc. (APA) outside the Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, October 6th. The APA represents more than 10,000 current and former law enforcement officials serving Westchester County. Mr. Astorino is running against State Senator Peter Harckham, the sponsor of the controversial and dangerous no-cash-bail law pegged by law enforcement leaders as the underlying cause of New York’s growing crime wave.
