Peter Harckham isn’t just telling lies about my integrity and record (and for those keeping score at home, he’s twice now had to pull TV ads that contained outright lies about me) he’s also repeatedly falsifying his own record!   His unbelievable denial that he ever introduced legislation that would strip ALL state education funding to any school with an “ethnic or raced based mascot” really takes the cake.   At a recent debate, jointly sponsored by the Yorktown and Carmel/Mahopac Chambers of Commerce, Harckham repeats this lie again and again despite all the evidence to the contrary.   WATCH: Peter Harckham lied about his bill that strips all state education funding from any school with an ethnic or race-based mascot We have his original bill and his Zoom meeting where he says his original bill had to be changed following the uproar from schools such as Mahopac (Indians) and Valhalla (Vikings) and Horace Greeley (Quakers).  But again, Harckham just denies it. It's crazy.   Ask yourself this -- if he lies about something like this with all the evidence against him, how can he be trusted on anything?   He can't.   And don't forget to vote!  Early voting has already begun.
