The Housing Action Council is hosting an online tour of Broadview at Purchase, which offers an affordable living and learning opportunity for seniors at Purchase College.

The Broadview development will feature 44 affordable residences for those 62 years of age and older.

These will be 675-square-foot, one-bedroom unit and will include a dining program, weekly housekeeping service, healthy life services, a learning center, parking, scheduled transportation, Purchase College amenities, and more.

The maximum household income is 80% of the median income of Westchester County which is $70,480 for a single person and $80,560 for two.

Entrance fees are $250,000 for single occupancy; $333,000 for double occupancy.  Monthly fees are $3,356 for single occupancy; $3,856 for double occupancy.

The entrance fee is 90% refundable when the person decides to move or can no longer live there.  The entrance fee can also be applied to assisted living on the campus should the resident need a more supportive environment.
