Dear Friends and Neighbors,
One of the many remarkable parts of Westchester County government is the important work done by the Human Rights Commission. Over the last couple of years the HRC has broadened its responsibilities from investigating and prosecuting cases of discrimination in housing and employment. In addition to keeping a database of hate instances that have occurred in Westchester, they are also offering educational webinars to address racism. On Wednesday, September 30th, 6-7:30 PM, the Westchester County Human Rights Commission will be offering a training in how to respond to hate and harassment if you are a bystander. To register, call (914) 995-7710 or e-mail humanrights@westchestergov.com
