Yonkers Insider: Town of Greenburgh Desk.
NYS is doing some work at intersection of Ardsley Road/Central Ave,,,. According to the NYS Department of Transportation the scope of the work at the intersection entails new ped signals, loops, ADA compliance ramps/sidewalk, new crosswalks (the median on CPA will be pulled back to accommodate crosswalk) and pavement markings. NYS has advised me that they will finance the demolition of 30 units of senior housing and will help finance 70 new senior citizen low income apartments at the site - on Manhattan Ave in the Fairview section of Fairview. The units will remain affordable for 99 years! Work could start this fall.
