Yonkers Insider: Town of Greenburgh Desk.
1533 residents still out of power, numbers to go down in unincorporated Greenburgh. Con Ed crews working thru the evening. Please report danagerous downed wires to dpw@greenburghny.com or police. All wires should be treated as dangerous. We don't want to miss. I posted on the town website efforts that we will make to help make our area clean after the storm. Overtime authorized. Relaxed organic pickup. We realize that everyone out of power is stressed and will be uncomfortable during the heat and humidity and want to be as helpful as possible. Overtime authorized for DPW crews - we will be reimbursed from FEMA.
