A couple of weeks ago, I announced an exciting new partnership with Bird as we launched the first-ever electric scooter pilot program in New York State.
Once again, Yonkers is leading the way as the first city in New York State to offer electric scooters. These scooters will provide smart, emission-free transportation solutions while providing residents and visitors the opportunity to travel our city with ease and convenience.
The partnership with Bird is a 1-year pilot program exclusively in the city’s downtown – the scooters are a fun, reliable, and an affordable way to travel short distanced trips in our ever-growing urban downtown.
