Yonkers Insider: News From Town Of Greenburgh.
COVID 19 has impacted many businesses and individuals. People have lost jobs. Businesses are going under. Hydrogen Fitness on E Hartsdale Ave signed a lease before the pandemic, spent significant dollars building their fitness center but is not allowed to open by the state (no gyms are). Should NYS help them with their rent so they can survive? NYS recently announced a tenant rental assistance program for low income tenants who also had COVID related problems. If commercial tenants have to continue to pay rent but can't open their businesses, how will they survive?
