Yonkers Insider: Yonkers Enters NYS Phase II Reopening Plan.

Today, our city takes yet another step in the right direction, entering Phase II of New York State's reopening plan.

The following businesses are slated to reopen under Phase II:

• Offices
• Real Estate
• Certain In-Store Retail
• Vehicle Sales, Leases, and Rentals
• Retail Rental, Repair, and Cleaning
• Commercial Building Management
• Hair Salons and Barbershops
• Outdoor and Take-Out/Delivery Food Services

It's an exciting time for all of us, especially as outdoor dining is allowed.

I recognize the impact the coronavirus has had on our local economy. In anticipation of today, I asked the Planning and Engineering Department to fast track all outdoor dining permits and significantly reduce the fees.
