Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

Friends, 

This week, we officially kicked off the holiday season at our Annual Yonkers City Hall Christmas Tree Lighting!

We had amazing performances by St. Casimir’s Church Children’s Choir, Yonkers Idols, Cross Hill Academy Drumline and the Hand Bell Choir of Oakview Preparatory School.

We were joined by Yonkers City Council members, their families and a special appearance by Santa Claus.

The holiday season serves as a great reminder of why we should be so very grateful for those in our lives. 

As we continue to celebrate, my hope is that you enjoy this holiday season with friends, family and your loved ones.
