NEW BOSS: The Onondaga County Public Library (OCPL) board of trustees announced it has named #ChristianZabriskie as the library’s new executive director.
NEW BOSS: The Onondaga County Public Library (OCPL) board of trustees announced it has named #ChristianZabriskie as the library’s new executive director.
AWARD WINNER: Christian Zabriskie is a founder and executive director of Urban Libraries Unite (ULU) and was recently named Library Journal’s 2020 Librarian of the Year along with ULU co-founder Lauren Comito.
He has served in a variety of positions in the Yonkers Public Library and was most recently as the branch administrator at the Grinton I. Will Library in #Yonkers.
A graduate of the information studies and library science master’s degree program at Florida State University,
Christian Zabriskie also earned a master’s in English language and literature from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

Zabriskie will begin as executive director at OCPL on Jan. 6th.
