Yonkers Land Giveaway, Chicken Island Sale:
Spano recently sold 6 acres Yonkers land known as Chicken Island to a private developer.
He has been on a selling spree giving away our land. Meanwhile, he complains that we need more schools! Why our land wasn’t used to build a school? Why our land wasn’t used to benefit Yonkers residents? Who benefited from the sale and commission? Certainly not Yonkers.
Spano has been making private developers richer and Yonkers residents poorer by giving away our land- Yonkers land.
This must end and it must be now. Don’t give Spano 4 more years. He will give away more of our land, or what’s left of it, to private developers.
Vote for Mario De Giorgio this election and let’s take Yonkers back.
