News from Blue Door Art Center:Volunteers Needed for Yonkers Riverfest and McLean Ave. Fall Festival.



Hello Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for folks to volunteer at BDAC booth at a couple of fun events that are taking place in our vibrant hometown of Yonkers coming up in September.

  • Annual Yonkers Riverfest | Saturday September 14, 2019, from Noon - 7pm in the downtown area between Dock and Main Streets.

  • McLean Avenue Merchants Association 9th Annual Fall Festival | Saturday September 21 from 11am - 7pm on McLean Avenue between Woodlawn Ave and Aqueduct Ave.


We're looking for a short commitment of time at these events, about 2 - 3 hours, and volunteers will be assisting children with a simple arts and crafts project. We will provide the supplies. You supply the smile!
