Coca-Cola is planning to sell water in cans instead of bottles to reduce its use of plastic and increase its use of recycled materials. It will also sell water in bottles made from plants and recycled plastic. (Bloomberg)

The owner of a hydropower plant in Mechanicville calls for supporting hydro plants as an integral part of combating climate change. The State Legislature passed a bill that would subsidize legacy renewable energy generators like hydropower and it awaits Governor Cuomo’s signature.
