Yonkers Public Schools: Another Amazing Year for Yonkers Public Schools.

Meet the $152 Million Class of 2019.

Assembled in their eye-catching academic gowns, the Class of 2019 graduated in eight traditional commencement ceremonies. We bid farewell to a class of outstanding young men and women who earned the largest number of scholarship awards of any class since records have been kept - $152,321,496.00 to be precise.  7 students were accepted to Ivy League schools 8 students were named National Merit Scholars 41 students were named Black Recognition Program Honorees 8 students were named Hispanic Recognition Program Honorees 177 students earned Superintendent Honor Society plaques and pins for consistently achieving 90 and above for all 4 years of high school 2 All-City Achievement Awards Ceremonies were held for the 2nd year in a row to hold the 901 high-achieving students and their proud families. We are #YonkersProud of these beautiful young people!
