We Endorse Jose Alvarado, Democrat, running for Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District.
Our Endorsement is based on Alvarado's Wealth of Experience as a former Westchester County Legislator, we need experienced County Legislators, during these potentially tough economic times for Westchester County Government. Jose has always been an advocate and a fighter for our City and also a fighter for Southwest Yonkers.
His wealth of experience is an advantage, we strongly feel in this race. Now is the time for leaders who have experience, who can hit the ground running and now is not the time for on the job training.
I have been more than fair to his Opponent London Reyes, where I let him post on my Facebook Group and my Facebook timeline. So far we have yet to meet with Lucy Casanova Moreno. I wish both candidates the very best of luck in this race on Primary Day, June 25th.
This seat is currently held by Westchester County Legislator, Virginia Perez, who decided not to seek Re-Election, so she could devote more time to her business venture, Pet Luxury.
His opponents in the June 25th Democratic Party Primary for Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District are London Reyes and Lucy Casanova Moreno.
