YONKERS, NY – This morning, Yonkers City Councilwoman, Shanae Williams from the 1st District was endorsed for Re-Election, Labor Unions Yonkers CLSA, President, Chris Sapienza, SEIU Local 704, President, Dominick Savarese, Yonkers PBA, Yonkers Democratic Party Chair, Thomas Meier, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, City Council Majority Leader Michael Sabatino, City Councilwoman Corazon Pineda Issac, Yonkers City Council President Mike Khader and Long time Community Activist in Yonkers, Gail Baxter.
All speakers who talked at the Press Conference all said Councilwoman Williams is a hardworking and tireless worker for her constituents and also is a team player, someone who works so hard on a daily basis to help make her constituents lives better each day and she always hold many events in her district to help people, who are in need on a constant basis.
Councilwomen Williams Main Issues, while on the Yonkers City Council has been: Our School System, Quality of Life and being Pro Active on the issue of Homelessness. Councilwomen Willaims is a very hard working and dedicated Yonkers City Councilwoman and she is always very Pro-Active on issues and is also a very nice, kind and generous person.
Our Newspaper has strongly endorsed Yonkers City Councilwoman, Shanae Williams for Re-Election in this year's Elections. Primary Day is Tuesday, June 25th in the Democratic Party Primary for Yonkers City Council, 1st District.
