June 7, 2019
As we head into Yonkers Pride weekend, I want to thank all of the LGBT individuals, allies, and supporters for allowing Yonkers to continue being the leader on progressive and safe spaces and events for those in the LGBT community. The LGBT Pride flag was raised yesterday, June 6th, and will be raised all through Pride weekend in solidarity with everyone who will be attending Pride events.
I wish everyone a happy and safe Yonkers Pride weekend!
Best Wishes,
Khush Kam-Au

Yonkers Remembers Its Bravest Warriors and Servicemen from World War II on June 6th, the 75th Anniversary of D-Day
I was honored to speak at the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Normany, France Allied Forces Invasion. With me were veterans of World War II as well as survivors of that defining day of the War. Yonkers is proud of those who gave their lives to fight for the freedom of others, and we continue to honor their memory by carrying on their legacy of defending American values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
To all veterans and active service members, thank you.
