Neighbors, I hope you have been enjoying your summer with family and friends and that you've been taking advantage of the many great attractions located right here in Yonkers. As I am sure you all know, it is very hot out there, and last week's heat wave left many, including residents right here in Yonkers, in the dark. While black outs are relatively common when temperatures get as high as they were the over the last few days, there are tips you can follow to help minimize that risk and to help conserve energy and money while staying cool.
