YONKERS MAYOR SPANO TO INTRODUCE NEW POLICE COMMISSIONER.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano will introduce Deputy Chief John Mueller as the City’s new Police Commissioner Wednesday, July 24th at 10:30am at Yonkers City Hall – 2nd Floor Mayor’s Reception Room.  Mueller serves as acting commissioner pending Yonkers City Council confirmation. Mueller replaces outgoing Commissioner Charles Gardner, who is retiring.

Mayor Mike Spano also will be appointing CLSA President Det. Captain Christopher Sapienza as the department’s newest Deputy Chief.
