News from New York State Senator, Shelley Mayer, 37th District.

Dear Friends:

I am proud to promote several upcoming events hosted or co-hosted by my office which you might be interested in attending.

To celebrate Earth Day, I have partnered with Westchester Land Trust for two Earth Days of Action on Saturday, April 27th and Saturday, May 4th. We will be caring for and protecting Otter Creek Preserve in Mamaroneck. To RSVP, click here.

On Monday, April 29th I am hosting a Round Table in Albany about the Textalyzer technology which allows law enforcement to detect mobile device swiping or typing, without collecting private information, in the event of a motor vehicle crash. Cellebrite, the Textalyzer developer, will also be there to perform live demonstrations of the technology.

On Friday, May 3rd, State Senator Todd Kaminsky, Chair of the Environmental Conservation Committee and Climate & Community Protection Act (CCPA) prime sponsor, will join me at the Rye Nature Center for a panel discussion about proposed efforts in New York to tackle climate change.

Additionally, I have organized a Bronxville Town Hall on Saturday, May 18th at the Bronxville Public Library. Join your neighbors and friends to hear about the 2019 legislative session, a recap of the adopted state budget, and discuss local community issues.

Please see below for more information on each of these events and several others.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call my office at 914-934-5250 or email smayer@nysenate.gov.

Sincerely,
Shelley B. Mayer
