Dear Neighbor,
October is here! This is one of my favorite times of year. The leaves change and our City transforms. There are more than 80 parks you can visit to see the fall colors.
This weekend, we will be celebrating Italian heritage and culture during the 97th Annual Yonkers Columbus Day Parade. It steps off on Seminary Avenue and ends along Midland Avenue, with an Italian festival to follow.
Sample some classic Italian fare from meatballs to pasta and zeppolis! Our Yonkers Police Commissioner Christopher Sapienza will be leading the parade as the grand marshal.
I hope to see you out there! Have a great weekend, Yonkers!
Be well,
MIKE SPANO Mayor |
