Yonkers Insider: Statement from New York State Assemblyman Nader Sayegh 90th District.

This week, I had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a leading media personality and esteemed educator from India. Dr. Marwah visited to discuss his impressive contributions to the media and entertainment industry. As the founder of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of the AAFT University of Media and Arts, Dr. Marwah's work in film, education, and social services has earned him widespread recognition and acclaim. Additionally, I met with my friend Rabbi Mendy Hurowitz of Cabad of Yonkers who shared his insights and vision for our community. Moreover, I had the opportunity to address the Lake Avenue Community Association as a guest speaker. My speech reflected my ongoing commitment to addressing community needs, fostering positive change, and my ongoing advocacy for the City of Yonkers. I again call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza! I urge all involved parties to engage in negotiations for a lasting peace agreement, which includes the release of all hostages and prisoners. Additionally, it is imperative that the international community promptly addresses the hunger and starvation affecting the population in Gaza. From the start of this conflict, nearly 40,000 have died, 80,000 are injured, and 1.5 million Palestinians have been displaced from their home.
