Today is Election Day in New York State! Today, enrolled party members in the City of Yonkers can cast ballots to select their nominee for the following offices:
-City of Yonkers: Mayor (Democratic Primary)
-City of Yonkers: Council District 1 (Democratic Primary)
-City of Yonkers: Council District 5 (Republican Primary)
Voting is our most important right and responsibility as citizens. In the New York State Assembly, I've been proud to support legislation which expands voting access to all New Yorkers, including early voting, expanded absentee voting, and online voter registration. I encourage all New Yorkers to get out their and make their voice heard. Polls are open today until 9:00 PM. For more information, contact the Westchester County Board of Elections at (914) 995-5700.
