YONKERS PIC: The 7th Ward Memorial has been in the Yonkers Park Hill Section for 64 years? The memorial was dedicated in 1959 and includes 49 Yonkers residents who fought in Wolrd Wars I & II, Korean War, and Vietnam War. Fifty-nine names are on the memorial – 14 from World War I, 42 from World War II, three from Korea and one from Vietnam. The dedication of the memorial took place in October 1959.
