Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friends,

I'm so optimistic about our future generation in Yonkers. This week we welcomed some of our youngest residents to City Hall for National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. They participated in all sorts of activities with our police, fire, parks, and DPW. I hope we inspired some of them to consider working with our great City in the future.

Today is Arbor Day and we continue to make our City more beautiful with green space and trees. We want to encourage all of you to celebrate nature and some of the natural resources we have here in our City.
