On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Yonkers City Council held a Budget & Finance Committee meeting and a Stated City Council meeting. All items on both agendas appear below, as well as the decisions taken by the City Council in regard to these items.

Budget & Finance Committee Meeting Agenda 1. Special Ordinance –amending the budget for the City of Yonkers for the 2022/2023 Fiscal Year in relation to transferring funds to and from various accounts for the purpose of: 1) Health Insurance, 2) Supplemental Pension 207A, 3) Judgment and Claims, 4) General Services Fuel for heating. (Neutral Fiscal Impact.) (All Councilmembers.) Moved to Stated City Council Meeting of March 14, 2023 Stated City Council Meeting Agenda 1. Special Ordinance – confirming the Tax Roll for Westchester County Taxes, including Sewer District Taxes and Refuse Disposal District Taxes, for the calendar year 2023, and levying and assessing the taxes contained therein. (Adopted 6-0) 2. Special Ordinance –authorizing Yonkers Social Circus Grant from the Westchester County Youth Bureau in the amount of $50,000 and amending the City of Yonkers Grant Budget for Fiscal Year 2023. (Adopted 6-0) 3. Resolution – approving an Inter-Municipal Agreement between the County of Westchester and the City of Yonkers for installing and maintaining and operating an E911 System. (Adopted 6-0) 4. Resolution – approving an Inter-Municipal Agreement by and between the City of Yonkers and the County of Westchester to accept Grant Funding for the Youth Bureau for the Yonkers Social Circus. (Adopted 6-0) 5. Resolution scheduling a public hearing relating to a General Ordinance amending General Ordinance No.4-2000, also known as Chapter 43 of the Zoning Code of the City of Yonkers, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Yonkers, and the accompanying zoning map by amending said map by changing the zone classification of 21 Scarsdale Road from the current “I” zone district classification to an “A” zone district classification (Adopted 6-0) 6. Resolution directing the referral of the proposed Local Law amending Chapter 43 of the Code of the City of Yonkers, entitled "Zoning" with regard to Affordable Housing. (Adopted 6-0)   7. Resolution declaring the month of March 2023 “Women’s History Month” and declaring March 8, 2023 as International Women’s Day” (Adopted 6-0)   8. Resolution to declare the month of March 2023 as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month in the City of Yonkers (Adopted 6-0) 9.
