CITY OF YONKERS TO BREAK GROUND ON TREVOR PARK RENOVATIONS.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano along with the Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation & Conservation will break ground Tuesday, January 3 at 11AM at Trevor Park on the first phase of renovations planned for the neighborhood park.
Renovations for the park include the installation of new basketball courts, new tennis courts, new benches and walkways and the replacement of the playground surfacing. The first phase is scheduled to be complete in early summer.
Trevor Park is slated to undergo additional improvements in the coming years that will include the rehabilitation of the restrooms, dog area, fields, the improvement of parking and the installation of fitness equipment and new bleachers.
Trevor Park is one of 78 neighborhood parks located throughout the city.
