Hunts Point Renovation: Clean Air and Environmental Justice Hunts Point Market produces 25% of NYC’s produce and helps feed the entire NY metro area but it is also home to polluting trucks and boilers. $500G Grant Will Triple Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in North Hempstead Town   North Hempstead will add 30 electric vehicle charging stations across seven town facilities, tripling the current number of publicly accessible chargers in town. Officials said a $500,000 state grant will allow the town to install Level 2 EV chargers, which can fully charge a car in four to eight hours.   (Newsday)

NYC Mayor Adams Unveils New Resiliency Efforts Ahead of 10th Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy   Mayor Adams unveiled new details about the city’s resiliency efforts around its coastline and its long-term plans to guard against severe storm-surge flooding.
