Westchester Power, which launched in Yonkers on March 1, 2022, currently provides roughly 36,000 Yonkers households with locally sourced 100% Renewable energy using New York State hydropower. This renewable energy program is currently more affordable than the utility rate and residents can opt in-and-out of the program at any time with no penalty or fees.
