I was pleased to join Mayor Mike Spano and my colleagues in government to bid farewell to my friend The City of Yonkers Zoning Board Chairman Joseph Cianciulli. Joseph has been intimately involved with all matters related to zoning in the City of Yonkers for over 50 years, and has led the Zoning Board for over 30 of them.
In his time on the Board, he has successfully handled over 3500 cases. A 4th generation resident of our City, he has made his mark through his tireless commitment to our community, including his numerous philanthropic efforts such as bringing a 9/11 Memorial to our City. I was proud to present Joseph with a New York State Citation for his work and wish him the very best as he begins the next chapter of his extraordinary life. Excelsior!
