Dear friend,
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this week's State of the City Address a memorable one.
For the first time, we held the event at Lincoln High School’s brand new Auditorium featuring the school’s state-of-the-art equipment.
It was a special evening, in large part, thanks to those who attended the event and followed along on social media and TV.
I’d be remiss if I did not thank my staff, the incredible students, and My Brother’s Keeper and My Sister's Keeper volunteers who made the night possible.
I am deeply proud of the incredible strides we made – achieving an over 90% graduation rate in our schools, continually ranking as one of the safest cities of our size, recommitting ourselves to greening our environment, and announcing the upcoming development projects that lay ahead.
We have proven how much we can accomplish together, and after last night I am re-energized about the work and days ahead.
Have a safe weekend,
MIKE SPANO
Mayor
