Governor Hochul has committed $600 million in taxpayer dollars to fund the $1.4 billion building of a new state of the art stadium for the Buffalo Bills. Clearly Governor Hochul is more interested in lining the pockets of the billionaire owners of the Bills, who are Florida residents, instead of increasing the Yonkers Public Schools reimbursement rate of 70% to the 98%, that Buffalo receives, to build new state of the art schools. Don't our children deserve the same? Before we fund a state of the art stadium let's fund state of the art schools in Yonkers! I call on our State delegation to vehemently oppose this proposal and redirect the funding to help rebuild our schools.
