Yonkers Insider: City of Yonkers: Press Conference on Recent Hate Crime.

 


On Tuesday, March 15th, I joined Asian-American leaders and other elected officials for a press conference to denounce the horrific attack - a hate crime - that took place in our city last week. Yonkers is a very diverse city, and our differences are proudly celebrated. It is one of the things I love most about our city. I applaud the Yonkers Police Department for quickly arresting the suspect and upholding the values on which our society is based. Hate in Yonkers will not tolerated.
