Yonkers Insider: BLESSING OF THE ORIO PALMER ROOM AT THE HERITAGE BAR AND RESTAURANT.


On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, which would have been his 66th Birthday, I attended the Blessing of the Orio Palmer Room at the Heritage Bar and Restaurant.  

Battalion Chief Orio Palmer was a courageous firefighter and hero who died on the 78th floor of the South Tower on September 11, 2001.  The evening was a beautiful tribute to a true American Hero.  

You will never be forgotten!  May you be resting in eternal peace!
