Kwanzaa is a seven-day holiday observed in the United States, meant to honor the African American diaspora as well as their ancestral roots. The celebration begins today, December 26 and lasts until January 1 to represent the specific ideals one should strive to achieve. Among these principles are: unity, self-determination, collective work & responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith. I hope you have an amazing Kwanzaa with your family!
