I will participate at tonight's Town Board meeting by zoom--was at a dinner Thursday and someone sitting at the table (not right next to me) tested positive.
There is a water main break off of Hillside ave in Greenburgh. Some people don't have water. We are in the process of trying to locate the break and will make the repairs. Once the repairs are made the water will be brown. Leave the water on for a half hour and it usually clears up.
I received an e mail from another public official from Mamaroneck around 2 PM today. I was at a meeting of the Municipal Officials this Thursday evening. A woman sitting at a table close to me who is also a Town Supervisor tested positive. I have no COVID symptoms but want to be extra careful so will participate by zoom when the Town Board meets tonight. County Executive George Latimer tested positive and is working from home. I will work remotely until the COVID tests come back.
COVID is spreading very fast. Those who have not been boosted or vaccinated should get your boosters/vaccinations quickly. People are getting very sick from the illness. Don't think you're not going to be exposed to the illness. Be careful by getting vaccinated and taking your booster shot. Thanks to the Greenburgh Neighborhood Health Center for offering booster shots/vaccines every Monday and Wednesday from 10-3 PM without appointments.
