Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

 


Dear Friend,

This week, I joined with Gorton High School and members of the Armed Forces to unveil the Never Forget Garden in honor of our veterans.

The garden is the first of its kind at any school across the country and pays homage to those who have served or are currently serving our country. 

The unveiling was timely, ready for Veterans Day. If you missed the City of Yonkers' Veterans Day ceremony, you could view it here. 

I hope you enjoy your weekend and remember, if you see a Veteran consider taking a moment to express your appreciation.
