Yonkers Insider: Yonkers City Councilman John Rubbo 4th District: LANSDOWNE YONKERS FC ARE THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS OF AMATEUR SOCCER.


Congratulations to Lansdowne Yonkers FC for winning the 2021 United States Adult Soccer Association National Amateur Cup! Lansdowne Yonkers will now compete in the 2022 U.S. Open Cup where they will likely play against teams in Major League Soccer such as the New York Red Bulls or NYCFC.


Congratulations to the players, coaches and staff.

Lansdowne has won 6 different competitions this year.  If they win the National Fricker Cup in Detroit in 2 weeks, then Yonkers will become the first ever
non-professional soccer team to will all 7 trophies in a single season. 

You have made us so proud!!
