Yonkers Insider: City of Yonkers: Your Invitation to the City of Yonkers 9/11 Remembrance Ceremonies.

 

Dear Friend,

In less than two weeks, Yonkers will host Remembrance Ceremonies in honor of the precious lives lost due to the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001, and those lives lost due to the long-term effects of that day.

This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the terrible event that shocked our nation to its core. 

I kindly invite you to join us in remembrance on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

The first ceremony will be held at the 9/11 Memorial at Water Grant Street on the Yonkers Waterfront, starting at 8:30 am. 

The second ceremony will be held at Conor Park on McLean Avenue and Central Park Avenue starting at 7:30 pm.

I hope to see you there as Yonkers remembers our own.
