Yonkers Insider: Statement from Yonkers City Council Majority Leader Corazon Pineda Issac 2nd District.

 



Happy Mother's Day to all of the amazing moms out there. I am so thankful for my mom and I am proud of all that she has accomplished in her life. As a mother, myself, I understand the difficult yet important and rewarding job that is being a mom.

I am happy to have partnered with Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado, the Yonkers South Broadway BID and the Yonkers Hispanic Cultural Foundation in organizing a Free Hot Meal Distribution for Mother's Day this year. Having begun earlier today, and continuing tomorrow, we will be distributing almost 700 meals to our seniors.
