The Democratic Party Primary for the 6th City Council District, Pits 2 First time Candidates, They are Retired Deputy Police Chief in Yonkers and Endorsed Yonkers Democratic City Committee Candidates, Tim Hodges and his Opponent is Community Activist, Stella Schwuchow.
This will be an interesting race with Hodges having his many years of being involved in Yonkers and also involved in many Community Organizations and his Opponent Stella Schwuchow has been very involved as well in Community Affairs in Yonkers. It is refreshing to see a Young Person like Stella running and it should be an interesting Primary, Because She has Passion, Energy and Ideas that She hopes will her Win this Democratic Party Primary.
This will be a Fun Race to cover. Both Candidates are Very Passionate about our City and that is a great thing, in my view, May the Best Candidate win this Democratic Party Primary. We will keep our readers, informed and posted on this extremely important Primary Race set for June 22nd.
Both Candidates bring with them a Love for Our City as a Common Thread, There are some differences in their platforms and that is a good thing, That is what a Debate on Ideas is all about in our Election Process and We look forward the Platforms of both Candidates in this Democratic Party Primary for Yonkers City Council in the 6th District.
