Jose Roman was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico in January of 1955. He completed High School and his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in Puerto Rico. in 1977, He moved to Yonkers, Where He continued his Education and Earned a Masters Degree in Education from The Long Island University.
He worked at Mercy College as an Adjunct Professor and later on found himself advocating for the less fortunate as a Social Worker with the Department of Social Services in Westchester County for 27 Years. Jose Roman is a Proud Father of Three Children. They Attended the Schools in Yonkers.
Jose Roman was the Former President of the Yonkers Puerto Rican Day Parade. An active member of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA), Westchester Chapter, Former President of Hispanic Democrats of Westchester and Current Democrat District Leader.
Vote for Jose Roman in the Democratic Party Primary on June 22nd for Yonkers City Council, 2nd District.
