Giving everyone an opportunity to learn valuable skills and join the workforce starts in our own communities. The Nicholas Center and the Spectrum Designs Foundation in Pleasantville represent a strong commitment to meeting the job needs of those in the Autism community. Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, former Governor David Paterson, Mayor Peter Scherer and other officials joined me recently to inaugurate the organizations’ joint facility, a custom apparel manufacturer, in the village. I wish everyone the best of luck in this exciting new chapter.
