Democrat London Reyes makes 3rd Attempt for Westchester County Legislator in the 17th District. In 2017, He challenged Then Westchester County Legislator Virginia Perez, A race he fell short in and in 2019, He ran and fell short against Current Westchester County Legislator Jose Alvarado of the 17th District.

Reyes is a Community Activist, who has been very active for Years and has always wanted to give back to the Yonkers Community and He feels Elected Office is truly his best way to serve the Citizens of Yonkers as a Westchester County Legislator to make sure Southwest Yonkers is not being Shortchanged by the County of Westchester and He if Elected, will be a Voice for all of the People of the 17th County Legislative District. 

For London this is not about the Political Machinery, this is about the People of our City and the People of the 17th County Legislative District, that He hopes to represent if He gets Elected County Legislator in the 2021 Elections.

London's Platform is an important Place to Look: He will fight for 30% Affordable Housing, He will bring to light the Issue of Homelessness and He will fight against Gentrification. London fully supports our Unions and that our Workers are the backbone of Our Country and Also the Middle Class as well. He will Advocate for our Essential Workers that they Receive the resources and support that they deserve. London Promises if Elected, that He will hold Monthly Town Hall Meetings to hear people's concerns and He will also Put the People First over Profit and He also says that if Elected that his Office will schedule Vaccine Appointments as well. He supports the creation of An Excluded Workers Fund and London will Advocate to Protect and serve Our Undocumented Community Members as well.

London was Born and Raised in the South Bronx and has been a Resident of Yonkers for the last 25 Years. He began his career as B-Boy London, A member of the New York City Breakers in the Early 1980's.As a member of this acclaimed dance group, London was featured in the Cleveland's "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" and the "Brooklyn Museum of Art." At the Peak of his entertaining career, Reyes travelled the world performing with Celebrities like Wyclef, LL Cool J, the Beastie Boys and Run DMC.

London is also knows for this television success as a television personality, London was the founder  "Freestyle Fridays," as seen on Metro Channel and BET's "106 & Park." Reyes also debuted in the movies "The Last Dragon" and "Krush Groove." 

In 2005, London formed the AAA All Star Program, a 501 (c) 3 non for profit organization that allows our Youth to reach their full potential through academics, athletics and the arts. In 2006, Reyes was awarded a Proclamation from Yonkers Mayor Phil Amicone for his dedication and commitment to the Youth. in 2007, Yonkers City Council  awarded Reyes  the "Ossie Davis Award" which recognized him as being an outstanding member of the community. London was also a former board member of the Yonkers Puerto Rican/Hispanic Day Parade and is a current board member of the Salvation Army.

London is the current Director of Entertainment for Nike Pro City Basketball League, A position, he has held for the last 14 Years. Reyes is also the Girls' Varsity basketball coach at Portchester High School. London attended John F. Kennedy High School in the Bronx and studied at SUNY Purchase, where he met his wife Laura Reyes.

Mrs. Reyes is a dedicated Yonkers music teacher of nearly 20 Years. Mrs. Reyes is a dedicated Yonkers music teacher of nearly 20 Years. They have two sons, who were educated in the Yonkers Public School System. Both graduated with honors from prestigious colleges.
