A message from Jitendra Barmecha, MD -chair of the Greenburgh Healthcare Advisory Board. India needs your help. Lives could be saved with more oxygen concentrators, ventilators and medicine
Jitendra Barmecha, MD, MPH, SFHM, FACP is chair of the Healthcare Advisory Board for the Town of Greenburgh and has been very helpful during the COVID 19 crisis --helping the town and residents address COVID related concerns. Now, he is asking for your help. There is a major crisis in India --and many people are suffering. If you have the ability to help this is a worthwhile cause. You can help save lives. Thanks.
PAUL FEINER
COVID 19 has created an unprecedented crisis for India and the Indian people. India needs oxygen concentrators, ventilators, and medicine.
American Association of Physicians from Indian Origin AAPI leadership has donated 100K for oxygen concentrators. One oxygen concentrator costs approximately $500.
There is a plan to send remdesivir, tocilizumab, steroid, aspirin, BiPAP, and ventilators. Few other leaders are trying to establish oxygen plants in various locations, which can be done at 50K.
Here are few websites where one can donate.
