Benjamin said: “Both Mama and Lizzy are heritage breeds – breeds that would have been around a long time ago. It’s very important for us to teach people about farming, and farming practices from when Muscoot was a working farm.”
Nationally Accredited since 2003, Westchester County Parks owns and operates a wide range of facilities including six golf courses, pools and beaches, recreation parks, trailways and nature centers. Alfred B. DelBello Muscoot Farm is one of the park system’s unique facilities. Although buildings remain closed due to Covid-19 protocols, visitors are encouraged to explore over 700 acres of outdoor space.
